Flash Gordon Parks is an ethnomusicologist devoted to sharing the wonderful music history of Houston TX. His research is extensive, often focusing on the political, cultural, and social impact music has had. As a record collector and DJ, he strives to reach the souls of people with music. He believes his job is to both entertain and expose the audience to music that may not be accessible in familiar arenas.

I developed this image concept based on the notion that the man is so filled by his passion for music and related knowledge, that it is akin to 'Eating, sleeping, and breathing it' because 'it' is such a part of him, and also that his DJ skills serve up delicious and tasty tunes.
