Tobe is short for Tobechukwu, which means “praise God” in the Nigerian dialect of Igbo. Born in Alief Texas of first generation Nigerian parents, Tobe uses a rapid-fire style of rapping. His topics include Houston pride and virtues of living the Christian faith. This image is based on the Nigerian flag colors of white for peace, green for wealth. His hands show the sign for Alief.
